Centennial Youth Hockey Association (CYHA) provides the youth of our community with organized hockey. We provide programs for players age 4 through high school. You are eligible to play for CYHA if you reside within the District 12 school district.

CYHA provides a program in which every player can develop hockey skills, be challenged, have fun and participate at a level where these objectives can be achieved. CYHA season begins in October and ends in March. CYHA accepts registration from boys and girls between the ages of 4 through Sr. High (players not playing on the H.S. teams). 	Team Formation Meeting - July 9th - 7:00 PM
	Come hear what the anticipated Team Formation for 2008-09 season is. Wednesday - July 9th at 7:00 PM - *Circle Pines City Hall*

	NEW for 2008-09 - Equipment Swap/Sale with FREE Family OPEN SKATE - August 7th - 3:00-5:10
	Need equipment for your child who has grown over the summer, or looking to get rid of some of your own. Our Booster Club (GOTCHA) will be hosting an Equipment Swap/Sale - along with a FREE Family Open Skate on August 7th - 3:00 - 5:10 PM at the Centennial Sports Arena. CHECK OUT THE Booster Club (GOTCHA) page - as details are finalized - information will be posted there (as well as other fun stuff).

	12th Annual Centennial Boys High School Hockey - GOLF Tournament
	Come support out Boys High School Hockey team by participating in the 12th annual GOLF Tournament (put on by the Blue Line Club). Saturday - August 16th - Chomonix Golf Course Click HERE for registration packet which provides details and contact information.

	3rd Annual CYHA Golf Tournament a success!

	OUTSTANDING BALANCES.....note from the CYHA Board
	At our last meeting in April, the current outstanding balance on fees owed to CYHA for the 2007/08 season was over $50,000.00 Our duty to the members is to collect that money before allowing registration to occur for families with outstanding balances. Families that have an outstanding balance WILL NOT be allowed to register or skate at tryouts unless balance has been paid in full or payment arrangements are made with the Treasurer or President of CYHA. If you are need of financial assistance, please contact us ASAP to get these invoices resolved. Financial assistance is available only to families displaying true financial hardships - otherwise a payment plan needs to be established.

	Coaching Applications now being accepted for the 08-09 Season
	Traveling A level and/or non parent coach applications WERE due by June 15th - NOW CLOSED Traveling B/C level and/or parent coach applications are due by July 10th Initiation level applications are due by August 10th On-line coaching applications are found on the Coaching Page.

	2008/09 Upcoming Board Meetings
	The following meetings will be held at the Centennial Arena Board Room and Gambling Meeting will begin at 6:00 PM with the Board Meeting immediately following at 6:30 PM. All CYHA Membership welcome to attend! Wednesday, July 23, 2008 Wednesday, August 27, 2008

	CYHA Hockey Socks and Car Decals
	Athletic Outfitters has the CYHA team socks available for sale - should your child lose or tear the ones they were given. If you do not see your size and style on the rack in the store, please ask. They have stock in the back. Car Decals are $5.00 each. Available year round!
