The first volunteer positions for the 2012/2013 season have been sent out in an email,  We are still in the process of getting our system ready for this new season so these hours are not showing on DIBS you can contact Rick Jackson at fundraising@centennialhockey.org to claim these and I will manually credit hours once we are set for the new season.  updated 5/8/12

 For the 2012/2013 season volunteer hours are being increased to 12 hours per family and a deposit check in the amount of $500 payable to CYHA. 

4 positions have been posted for jersey return on April 5th.  Claim in DIBS.  These hours are still for the season of 2011/2012,  updated 3/27/12.

An email was sent out regarding 4 volunteer positions for this up coming season. These are not located in DIBS as we need to wait for our system to be updated for the next season.  updated 3/22/12

If you sign up to be a locker room supervisor you must complete a back ground check prior to completing this.  If you sign up for this please email volunteers@centennialhockey.org and the link will be emailed back to you. 

NEW Online Volunteer Sign Up System (DIBS)  New Hour and Check Requirement for the 2012/2013 season

For the 2012-2013 season we will be using the DIBS system to assign and track our volunteer opportunities.  You will be asked to log into the Centennial Youth Hockey website to view and claim all available volunteer opportunities.

You will login using the same account and password you used to register your player.  PLEASE DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT.

Using The new DIBS Volunteer System:

It is easy to get started in the DIBS volunteer system.  Please follow these following steps.

1. Log into the CYHA website.  Click on the DIBS tab on the top navagation bar.

2. Click on the type of DIBS Session you are interested in reviewing for shifts.  Review the details and then click the claim button that will appear at the bottom of the page to sign up or claim the session. 

3. Optional: You can adjust the parameters at the top of the page for the dates, length of shifts and location of your choosing.

4. An email reminder will be sent to the email address listed on the account profile 1 day prior to the day of your shift.

5. If you need to cancel your DIBS session you must do this through DIBS. 

If you do not see any volunteer opportunities listed under the 2011/2012 session on DIBS nothing is currently available.

2012-2013 Volunteer Policy

Centennial Youth Hockey Association depends on the assistance of its members to function as a successful organization.  It is critical that we all share in the commitment to produce a program that operates efficiently.  This year 12 volunteer hours per family will be required to satisfy this need.  Volunteer opportunities can be completed from July through March each year.  A $500 check payable to CYHA will be required at the time of registration along with the volunteer hour contract, and held until the end of the season. Checks will not be returned upon completion of volunteer hours, but will be shredded to save mailing costs.
