2026 Centennial / CSLP Youth Hockey 10,000 Shots Club

2026 PROGRAM INFO

Centennial / CSLP is encouraging all players to participate again in the 10,000 Shots Club challenge, with the goal to encourage our hockey players to develop great shooting skills as well as recognize the commitment it takes in the sport of hockey.

Our Goal:

Increase shot speed, quickness and accuracy. 

The Challenge:

The challenge will start on May 17 and end on September 19. Players must shoot a total of at least 10,000 pucks over this time period, which averages out to about 80 shots per day. Shots must be documented on the CYHA 10,000 Shot tracker sheet which can be downloaded via the links below. Goalies are encouraged to use their goalie stick and goalie gloves as much as practical for their age and ability, but not required.

The Rewards:

Each participant, achieving 10,000 shots, will receive a 10,000 Shots Club t-shirt and be listed on our 10,000 Shots Club Wall of Fame in our dryland / shooting facility at Centennial Sports Arena. 

Also, at the conclusion, all players who complete 10,000 shots will have their name entered in a drawing for a new hockey stick (credit of up to $250) from Between The Pines Hockey Development located at 7860 Lake Dr. NE in Lino Lakes.
